Brief description

The education sector is an area that we here at Mercury Construction pride ourselves on. The tight timescales and unique projects bring the best out of our team. This was demonstrated in a project we completed for Newton Abbot College. This project involved the complete refurbishment of a modern language block and the construction of a new art block.

The modern art display required a contemporary aesthetic and Mercury Construction were able to construct the area with a high level of detail. This gave the college a fantastic place to show off the art created by their talented students.

We also built a bridge link that incorporated a listed stable block within the footprint of the building. This will help expand the space and facilities at the College for the pupils, allowing them to develop and grow within a modern environment.

This project was a finalist for Best Educational Building in the LABC Building Excellence Awards and was the Winner of the DBC Building Excellence Awards.
